This month is filled with get-to-gethers: 4th of July with our American friends, birthday party yesterday and those last minute “Are you home for a cuppa?” meetings. We love seeing friends. Yet, no everyone loves those spontaneous visits, especially if the house isn’t perfectly tidy. Guess what, you don’t need a super clean house to welcome your friends. We got some quick tidy up tips for you. All you need is a few minutes and tada!

When was the last time you had your house to yourself? For me, it’s been some time and this week, my loved ones are on travel. I’ve the entire house to myself! And I’m loving it! Don’t get me wrong. I do miss my loved ones. I’m also loving peace and quiet.

When was the last time you’ve moved? For us, moving into a new home is generally during the warmer month, that is spring and summer. Temperatures were more conducive for the movers. You didn’t have to worry about your items waiting to be put on the moving van in the rain or worse snow. For many families, moving often means changing schools and to reduce the impact on children, the long summer is the ideal time.
Even out here, where temperatures are getting a tad too hot for us, moving seems to concentrate on 2 months: July and August! So who wants to take all their junk with them to their new home? Not us! This week, let’s look at decluttering before you’ll move.

For many of our friends and clients, this last weekend was a long one. Not for us and we worked on a project again already yesterday. After the last two weeks, we didn’t want to have too many plans.
