AboutPhysical vs emotional health
Why you should have a balanced health triangle
Yesterday, the HR Wellness Seminar took place and for any of you following me for some time, you how much I value health and wellbeing. Too many companies are unfortunately not providing enough support to their employees. Still, employees and individuals need to take ownership for their own health and wellbeing!
Prof. Justin James Kennedy’s presentation left me with food for thought: To get the emotional health in place, you’ll need to have the physical health in place.
Bring us together
Today’s post is a short one about what brings us together. Over the last few days, I’ve seen too much of what reminds me of Germany in the 1930s. My (French) history teacher liked to remind us every week how this atrocity can never, never, never be repeated.
This will be my political and human appeal. 4 more short paragraphs and a video.

Are you prepared for the unprepared?
Get prepared for the unexpected
Earlier this week, I got an unusual request from a previous client. They had major water damages in their home and, due to work requirements, were unable to wait for the plumber. “We’ll be there between 9 am and 5 pm. Yes, we understand this is an emergency.” If you’ve ever been in this situation, you can understand my client’s predicament. Luckily, my schedule allowed me to stay at their villa and wait for the plumber. Are you prepared for the unprepared?
Here my top tips to prepare for unexpected events:
Digital clutter
Don’t forget your digital stuff
This month, you’ll find a lot of help to let go and declutter your home. Most articles, videos and workshop focus on the physical stuff but what about your digital clutter? Have you even thought about all the digital stuff you keep?

Contact a lost friend
Which long-lost friend will you contact today?
I was so excited when my alma mater invited me to a reception here in Dubai. About 7,732 km away from my old campus, I’m looking forward to seeing some of my old lectures and hopefully also one or 2 of my class mates tonight. Contacting a long-lost friend is on my list for 2017.
And it’s not as difficult as you may think!
Time management = meeting management
Control your meetings and be in charge of your time
Did your first meeting today ruin the rest of your day? One of my readers shared how she struggles with meetings running over. She was frustrated by these delays causing her entire day to be re-prioritised.
Today, here’re my top tips to managing your meetings and consequently your time:
