Why I’m looking forward to this week by myself
A whole week to myself
When was the last time you had your house to yourself? For me, it’s been some time and this week, my loved ones are on travel. I’ve the entire house to myself! And I’m loving it! Don’t get me wrong. I do miss my loved ones. I’m also loving peace and quiet.
Don’t move your clutter to your new home
Enjoy your new home clutterfree
When was the last time you’ve moved? For us, moving into a new home is generally during the warmer month, that is spring and summer. Temperatures were more conducive for the movers. You didn’t have to worry about your items waiting to be put on the moving van in the rain or worse snow. For many families, moving often means changing schools and to reduce the impact on children, the long summer is the ideal time.
Even out here, where temperatures are getting a tad too hot for us, moving seems to concentrate on 2 months: July and August! So who wants to take all their junk with them to their new home? Not us! This week, let’s look at decluttering before you’ll move.
Why is it so tough to just sit still?
How long can you sit still?
For many of our friends and clients, this last weekend was a long one. Not for us and we worked on a project again already yesterday. After the last two weeks, we didn’t want to have too many plans. Doing nothing sounds great, right?! When was the last time, you just sat still? For many, it’s really tough!
But why?
Why we could use another week of Ramadan
We could use another week
This is now the 6th Ramadan we’re experiencing in this region. Each Ramadan has taught us something new about a different religion and culture. Still, we hold up our “live and let live” view and we won’t get involved in religion. Where many leave the city during this time, we were here and we’ll miss it. In fact, we could another week. Why?
What to give as a wedding present
Great ideas for a wedding present
Hello, wedding season! April is generally the start of the wedding season in the Western world and invitations keep flowing in. In fact, this weekend, one of our friends tied the know and she looked stunning. The couple were so looking forward to spending their special day with friends and family. What a beautiful day it had been!
With every wedding invitation also comes a bunch of other questions. What to wear? Will we stay longer and make it a (mini) break? Or what shall we give as a present?
